Karen worked for L.L. Bean for 20 years in various leadership positions. Karen chose to leave her secure job in October of 2006 to work with Foster care children. This was an extremely rewarding year for Karen, however, she missed the business world. Karen started her new chapter with MOUNTAIN, LTD. in March of 2008 as a recruiter focusing on VMS clients nationwide.
Karen grew up in Freeport, ME and married her high school sweetheart Gary. Gary and Karen have two boys: Tyler and Cotey. The family is rounded out with two cats, named Alley and Rogue. Karen and Gary enjoy riding on their Harley, four wheeling, snowshoeing, and watching the kids play sports.
