Employee Spotlight – Bonnie Castillo

We are so excited to recognize Bonnie Castillo with this month’s Employee Spotlight!  Bonnie became a MOUNTAINeer almost five years ago, bringing more than three decades of experience in the telecom industry. Prior to coming aboard at MOUNTAIN, LTD., Bonnie worked at CenturyLink for an incredible 38 years!

She started out as a contractor for MOUNTAIN, quickly became an Engineer Associate, and has now been working as a Billing Expeditor for the states of Washington and Arizona since November of 2019. Bonnie ensures jobs and units are input into our systems so MOUNTAIN, LTD. employees are paid on time and the company can bill for work completed by contractors.

Bonnie prides herself on her dedication to the company.  She says she takes her job seriously and always gives 150%.  If anyone needs help doing anything, she will not hesitate to raise her hand.  VP of Operations Kirstin Caster concurs — saying, “Bonnie is our problem-solver. When the team has a billing or systems challenge, we go to Bonnie!  I can count on Bonnie for her unwavering dedication to her job and her coworkers. She is truly valued by everyone who works with her!”

Bonnie is proud to be a MOUNTAINeer. She says she has never worked for a company that treats its employees with such kindness, compassion, and appreciation.

Outside of work, Bonnie enjoys watching college sports, and spending time with her two granddaughters. She’s also a twin — but says she and her sister couldn’t be more opposite! While Bonnie enjoys doing administrative type work, her twin enjoys doing yard work on her riding lawnmower.
