Responsibilities:

  • Develops operating procedures for Accounting Department and supervises accounting personnel.
  • Financial analysis of prospective new business ventures.
  • Reporting of financial results to all regulatory agencies and creditors.
  • Negotiating with all interstate and intrastate carriers for settlements, billing and collection services
  • Supervise monthly closing of the general ledger and prepare financial statements.
  • Analyzes financial statements and reports findings and recommendations to management.
  • Handles tax preparation and negotiation of company insurance.
  • Participates in development of fiscal policies and sets objectives, policies, and procedures.
  • Develops income and expense budget objectives.
  • Develops and carries out guidelines for controls and internal auditing system.
  • Establishes and maintains accounting policies based on GAAP, FCC, and state PUC guidelines.
  • Completes financial and regulatory reports for FCC, IRS, NECA, State PUC, and others.
Qualifications:
  • 5 Years GAAP
