Overview:

The OSP Construction Coordinator will manage workflows, permitting and interface with clients/customers. This role will also require outside plant field engineering in the Austin market as needed. The ideal candidate will be articulate and able to handle a lot of moving parts, with the ability to adapt to changes quickly.

Daily Responsibilities:

Planning, scheduling, and coordinating a wide variety of projects and associated tasks
Oversee construction from initiation to completion
Frequent interaction with Engineering teams to identify issues with initial plan design(s)
Inspection and monitoring of construction activity and contractor activity
Issue isolation and resolution in a field environment
Accurate daily/weekly tracking and reporting on project status
Approval of contractor invoices

Requirements:

Aerial & underground knowledge of Telco broadband placement of coax & fiber
Thorough understanding of NESC standards of building aerial & underground
Advanced Excel skills/proficiency
Strong knowledge of Access is required
Comprehensive knowledge of telecommunications and construction practices
Valid driver’s license
