Employee Spotlight – Ian Lewis
This month’s Employee Spotlight is shining on Ian Lewis!
Ian is an OSP Network Engineer for MOUNTAIN, LTD in Kennewick, WA. He started out as a trainee about seven months ago and was quickly promoted! Before coming aboard with MOUNTAIN, Ian worked as a Process Technician, helping test new recipes for French fries.
Ian is handling wire centers in and around the Tri-cities market supporting BAU engineering and some road relocation projects. Depending on the day, he can be found doing anything from working on a CAD design for a fiber build, to going out in the field to research and verify what is there.
Ian says this role with MOUNTAIN gave him an opportunity to learn a new set of skills that he had never even considered before. He tells us he expected to spend his career as an engineer working inside a plant. But now, he loves working out in the field!
One of Ian’s greatest professional accomplishments is the approval and eventual construction of a large housing area in Southridge/Kennewick which 2 previous engineers had failed to get approved. Incredible job, Ian!

Outside of work, Ian enjoys playing video games with friends. His favorite is the MMO Final Fantasy XIV Online. Additionally, he plays Dungeons & Dragons on the weekends. Enjoy your free time, Ian – You deserve it.
