Employee Spotlight – Melissa Gunshon
Melissa (Mel) is a MOUNTAINEER who joined MOUNTAIN, LTD. 4 years ago! As a project coordinator, Mel maintains consistent contact with MOUNTAIN teams, expediting the project and providing updates to our clients. Mel strives to ensure that our teams have the resources and information they need to be successful and deliver superior solutions.
Our clients who work closest with Mel have praised her professionalism, dedication to the project, and friendly demeanor. When asked why she enjoys working for MOUNTAIN, Mel says it’s because of the people she works with. Her work experience has been positive from the start, and coworkers have looked out for her like family. If she needs support, her leadership team has always been available to provide guidance or problem-solve.

Q & A:
What is one of your greatest professional accomplishments?
– One of my greatest professional accomplishments was running the Washington engineering inboxes whilst MTN was looking for a Project/Regional Manager. It opened the door for me to work more closely with our client and ask all the questions I needed to. They understood the position I was in and were happy to assist. I also had a lot of hands-on support from the MTN senior management team. Between the two teams, plus my own determination, I was set up for success!
What do you like to do outside of work?
– Outside work, I enjoy crocheting, watching films and TV, going to see live music, traveling, reading, listening to podcasts and spending time with my young son. He definitely keeps life adventurous.
Tell us an interesting fact about yourself:
– An interesting fact about me is that I skated high level Roller Derby for 4 years and got pretty far in tryouts when I tried out for the national team a few years ago. My skater name is Brewski Banner.
